We wanted to get as far off the beaten track as was possible with only a week. We took a 1000km route from the ancient city of Kathmandu, through Pokhara and up into the Dhorpatan, an unheard of Himalayan plateau in Nepal's mid west. We then wound our way down into the jugles of Chitwan National Park and then took the scenic route back to Kathmandu.
